History of Hartmann
The HARTMANN GROUP was founded in 1818 when the industrial pioneer Ludwig von Hartmann took over the Meebold spinning mill. His son, the visionary Paul Hartmann Sr., later founded the Paul Hartmann Bleaching, Dyeing and Dressing Company, a factory that produced a bandage material that revolutionized wound treatment. Our founding fathers were more than industrial pioneers. They instilled motivation, optimism and a high degree of commitment to improving the health of their customers.
